Positions

Account Manager Dilley, TX

Aegis Chemical Solutions is searching for an accountable, approachable, action-oriented Account Manager for a major customer in the Dilley, Texas area.

Serving as the key line of communication between Aegis and our Customers, the Account Manager will report to their Area and/or District Manager. The Account Manager will primarily be responsible for obtaining sales, service, and reporting for their Customers within a defined geographical area. In addition to the current Customer base, the Account Manager is also responsible for developing a sales pipeline with a focus on closing new business in their assigned area.Account Manager may be responsible for supervision of one or more account reps.Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Obtaining field samples for laboratory analysis;
  • Performs field analysis of samples within parameters set forth by Aegis’ Operations team;
  • Provides chemical and mechanical solutions to the Customer, while assisting them in lowering their lifting cost;
  • Coordinates with Technical Services on difficult chemical-related problems;
  • Creates monthly reports capturing cost, lab analysis, failures, etc.
  • Attends and participates in Customer meetings, to exchange information and report performance;
  • Maintains continuous injection rates at optimum levels;
  • Provides written recommendations to improve operations for the Customer;
  • Troubleshoots production chemical-related problems should they be encountered on the Customer’s site;
  • Develops and maintains Treater Truck treatment rates and/or frequency;
  • Ensures Customer KPIs (key performance indicators) are met
  • Conducts and reports a Total System Analysis (chemical survey) on existing or potential Customers
  • Manages Customer chemical inventory in coordination with regional Aegis Operations team;
  • Supervises a team of one or more Account Representatives;
  • Maintains continuous injection rates at optimum level and;
  • Focuses on accomplishing goals in a team environment with an emphasis on safety and cooperative communication across all other functional departments.

Three or more years’ production chemical industry sales experience is required. A four-year Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but we will consider related career experience in lieu of. This position requires the ability and desire to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and terrains (80% of working time).  Successful supervisory experience in developing and leading a team is a must.

All candidates must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as excellent problem solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point) is a must. Those with clear strategic ability, intrinsic drive, who can dictate the degree of direction needed to complete tasks independently, and are action-oriented individuals who deliver integrated and long lasting results through matrixed relationships within the organization will be very successful.

Regional HSE Manager San Antonio, TX

Aegis Chemical Solutions is searching for an experienced, approachable, action-oriented Regional Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE) Manager for our South Texas geographic region. This position will be based at our San Antonio facility. The Regional HSE Manager is also responsible for providing specialized creation and support for the Company’s HSE policies and programs, while maintaining compliance with applicable local, state and federal environmental, occupational health, safety and motor carrier regulations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assists in development of all required documents and processes regarding safety;
  • Presents, assigns, and records successful completion of mandatory safety training to keep all regional employees up-to-date on all aspects of safety specific to our industry;
  • Conducts accident, incident, and near-miss investigations specific to the region;
  • Ensures regional personnel conform to customer-specific safety requirements;
  • Liaises with customers, Corporate Compliance, and external agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory issues relevant to our industry
  • Displays proper site safety signage for assigned region(s);
  • Fosters communication and sharing of best practices and solutions to specific HSE issues;
  • Partners with management to provide technical advice to define strategies and create HSE plans;
  • Assists the organization in addressing safety cultural issues;
  • Provides safety supplies for all areas within region;
  • Establishes safety supply vendors in new districts;
  • Establishes site-specific HSE plans, as-needed, with assigned region(s);
  • Ensures adequate supply of PPE and enforces proper and required use among all employees;
  • Holds in-person regular training on proper equipment usage in respective region(s);
  • Hosts monthly safety meetings for respective region;
  • Provides technical expertise and support as needed to address HSE issues impacting our business;
  • Performs site HSE visits and audits on regional facilities;
  • Promotes and enforces all safety programs and work rules;
  • Conducts HSE Compliance audits;
  • Liaises and coordinates with facility contractors;
  • Hazardous/Non-Hazardous Waste Management and;
  • Up to 25% overnight travel required.

3-4 years HSE management experience in an oilfield chemical services company is a must. A related four-year degree is preferred, but we will consider an Associate’s level degree and 5+ years combination career experience in lieu of. Thorough understanding of safety regulations and regulatory process relative to the production chemical industry is REQUIRED, as is the ability to research, analyze, interpret, and implement HSE regulations, standards, and best practices. Finally, someone that maintains the highest degree of confidentiality with sensitive matters, can work independently to dictate degree of direction needed to complete tasks, and can deliver integrated and long-lasting results through matrixed relationships will be highly successful.

This role reports directly to the Corporate HSE Compliance Director.

Supply Chain Specialist Houston, TX

Aegis Chemical Solutions is searching for an approachable, action-oriented Supply Chain Specialist for our Corporate office, located approximately 5 minutes from Bush Intercontinental Airport. This collaborative role will be responsible for analyzing and coordinating the logistical functions of the organization, in addition to managing procurement of required materials, parts, and components for organization operations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Direct availability and allocation of materials, supplies and finished products;
  • Maintain and develop positive business relationships with key personnel involved in or directly relevant to a vendor or client’s logistics activity;
  • Develop an understanding of internal client needs, and take action to ensure that such needs are met;
  • Develop and implement technical project management tools such as production plans, scheduling, and compliance metrics;
  • Review inventory targets with District Managers to ensure security of supply against targets, benchmarks, and service agreements;
  • 3rd party manufacturing management;
  • Analyze operations costing and sales data/reports
  • Apply cost benefit analysis techniques
  • End of month inventory report management
  • Maintaining district safety stock
  • Create and maintain purchase orders and send copies to suppliers;
  • Ensure all suppliers acknowledge PO prices and delivery terms;
  • Provides analytical support for projects;
  • Designs and implements solutions to drive inventory accuracy;
  • Provides analytical support for new business opportunities and strategies related to inventory management;
  • Researches root cause of inventory discrepancies and;
  • Handles special projects and other duties as assigned.

Strong organizational skills and analytical skills are a must, as is a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management, or at least 5 years’ related industry experience. High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically advanced knowledge of Excel is required.  Experience with database creation and management is preferred.
