Technical Services Representative Midland, TX

Aegis Chemical Solutions is searching for a Technical Services Representative for our Permian Basin region. This position will be based in Midland, TX, with occasional travel to regional sites. The Technical Services Representative will report to the Regional Technical Services Manager

The Technical Services Representative will be responsible for (including but not limited to) troubleshooting issues commonly found in the oilfield with production, pipelines, and other systems associated with asset integrity (corrosion); flow assurance (scale, paraffin, hydrates, etc.); phase separation (demulsification, water clarification); and water quality.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are required for this role, as the Technical Services Representative will be responsible for preparing and writing technical documents, as well as developing Power Point presentations regarding their findings. An individual who is able to work independently, with little to no supervision will be highly successful. A solid understanding and respect for HSE guidelines is a must.

A BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or other related field is required. Excellent computer skills, with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook is a must. 2 years Technical Services experience int he oilfield is a huge plus.

Chemical Treater Truck Driver Midland, TX

Aegis Chemical Solutions is searching for Chemical Treater Truck Drivers for well servicing operations in Midland and the Permian Basin. Previous Chemical Treater Truck Driving experience is preferred, but not required. CDL Class A TX Driver’s License with HAZMAT endorsement is a HUGE plus, but we are willing to train the right candidates should they not hold these credentials. All applicants MUST have a clean driving record.

Duties will include but are not limited to hauling chemicals from the Aegis Midland warehouse facility to customer locations; chemical treating of all scheduled wells and locations on a regular basis, and marking them as complete on field ticketing software; keeping up with DOT documentation//logs; understanding container labeling and associated product hazards; loading and unloading trucks; performing routine servicing and inspection of truck equipment and supplies; and handling special projects as needed.

Receptionist Houston, TX

Aegis Chemical Solutions is seeking a personable, motivated, and proactive Receptionist for our corporate office. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for incoming guests to our corporate facility located 5 minutes away from Bush Intercontinental Airport. This is a full-time, non-exempt position, with normal hours ranging from 8 AM-5 PM. We are looking for someone that wants to be in this role long-term. This position is an integral part of our organization and only those with experience in the duties outlined below need apply.

Duties of the Receptionist will include, but are not limited to:

• Serves as first point of contact to our facility by welcoming & directing guests to our Corporate headquarters
• Answering phones and directing calls to the appropriate individuals, researching and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information and initiating telecommunications
Preparing FedEx and LSO shipments for Corporate staff
Providing guests with beverages, maintain executive conference room schedule, booking meetings, and preparing for those meetings by making food and beverage accommodations
Maintaining incoming check log for Accounts Receivable
Preparing employee break room first thing in the morning and in the late afternoon, insuring that coffee station is adequately supplied, as well as preparing coffee and tea
• Responsible for maintaining corporate and departmental telephone//email directories
• Maintains visitor//security log at reception area;
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Open, sort, prepare, and distribute incoming//outgoing correspondence and packages
• Prepare reports and handle information requests
• Prepare executives’ travel arrangements, including hotel and airline reservations
• File and retrieve documents, records, and reports
• Maintains tidy reception area
• Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries
• Maintains office supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, as well as placing supply orders for executives and office staff
• Follow-up with assigned tasks
• Other duties as assigned and the ability to work overtime as needed

Skill Requirements:

• Ability to multitask and work with strict deadlines
• Ability to travel periodically (less than 10%) and available for extended hours as business dictates with the ability to travel by means designated by Company (Air, Auto, Train, Boat, etc.)
• Ability to follow instruction from executives and management for assigned tasks
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Intermediate MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook) and PC Skills
• Must be a team player and have a go-getter attitude; someone that takes on tasks independently will be very successful in this role
• Needs little direction to complete tasks; can dictate degree of direction needed to complete tasks

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma
• Associate’s Degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience in a fast-paced, corporate office environment

This role reports directly to the Human Resources Manager.

Accounting Specialist Midland, TX

We are searching for an Accounting Specialist for our Permian Basin region, to be based at our Midland, TX facility. The Accounting Specialist supports district accounting and Wennsoft functions, while maintaining office services and related activities.

Duties of the Accounting Specialist include, but are not limited to:

• Enters accounts payable and matches purchase order numbers to AP
• Assigns PO numbers
• Daily updating and review of Wennsoft field ticketing software for entire Permian Basin
• Tracking and recordkeeping of treat sheets until Wennsoft field ticketing software is fully implemented
• Entering delivery tickets in NAV until Wennsoft is fully implemented
• Participates as needed in special department projects
• Greets and assists external visitors and guests upon entry to facility
• Assists in answering Company’s main line and directing calls when Receptionist is unavailable during established office hours
• File and retrieve documents, records, and reports
• Retrieve sensitive information with the highest degree of confidentiality and protect it as such if required
• Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine departmental inquiries
• Follow-up with managers on assigned tasks
• Serves as the Permian Basin’s accounting liaison with other departments, districts, vendors, and customers
• Other duties as assigned.
